IT NEVER RAINS IN LA: PIMLR x Harperville Celebrate FX's The Drop: A Snowfall Saga in Inglewood

Party In My Living Room brings the community together at The Miracle Theater for an evening of storytelling, music, lowriders, and Los Angeles culture.

It never rains in LA!

Party In My Living Room (PIMLR) is teaming up with Harperville for a special watch party celebrating Episode 6 of FX's The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, honoring filmmaker, creative visionary, and honorary PIMLR Director Rashidi Natara Harper.

Taking place at the historic Miracle Theater on Market Street in Inglewood, the evening brings together the people, stories, and cultural influences that continue to shape Los Angeles.

More than a television screening, the event is a celebration of community, creative collaboration, and authentic LA storytelling.

A Celebration of LA Culture

Los Angeles has always been a city where music, film, fashion, and street culture intersect. From the lowriders cruising through the neighborhoods to the sounds that define the West Coast, these cultural expressions have shaped generations of storytellers.

For PIMLR, creating spaces where those worlds come together has been part of the mission since our first house party in Inglewood in 2015.

This special evening continues that tradition, bringing the energy of a PIMLR house party into one of Inglewood's historic entertainment venues.

Guests will be welcomed by DJ 88, providing the soundtrack throughout the theater, lobby, and outdoor patio.

A curated display of three lowriders will pay tribute to LA's automotive culture, while guests enjoy food, drinks, music, and conversation before the screening.

Behind the Story: Rashidi Natara Harper & Emil Pinnock

Before the screening, DJ HED will host a special conversation with Rashidi Natara Harper and Emil Pinnock, offering the audience an opportunity to hear directly from the creatives about their work, artistic journeys, and the importance of telling stories rooted in Los Angeles.

Rashidi has long been part of the PIMLR creative family, contributing his vision and storytelling perspective to the culture we've built together.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate his contributions while bringing our community closer to the people helping shape the stories we see on screen.

The Full PIMLR Experience

We're transforming The Miracle Theater into a gathering space that captures the spirit of a classic LA house party.

The theater's lobby bar will feature a full drink menu alongside beef, chicken, and spinach empanadas, popcorn, candy, and classic movie concessions.

Outside, the backyard patio will offer a second bar serving assorted spirits, batched cocktails, beer, and wine, with music circulating throughout the venue.

During the screening's commercial breaks, Thurz will engage the audience with trivia questions and exclusive merchandise giveaways, keeping the communal experience alive from beginning to end.

Following the episode, DJ 88 will provide the soundtrack for a post-screening social hour, giving guests an opportunity to connect and celebrate.

And because we're honoring an iconic era of LA culture, '90s-inspired attire is strongly encouraged.

Bring out the vintage jerseys, oversized denim, fresh sneakers, tracksuits, and your flyest West Coast fits.
