PIMLR: a JUNETEENTH special
The Leimert Park Rising Juneteenth Commemoration was one for the books. Over 25,000 people filled the streets of Degnan, Leimert, 43rd St and People St. The Party In My Living Room Activation took place in The Alley next to Hot and Cool with an AR enhanced LED board powered by Kid Cudi, Ian Edelman and Jon Gray’s Encore Application. Thurz and friends brought the house to the alley with family vendors Bimeti Treats, Piper Mauru, and Churro Man Can to occupy the Kitchen section of the activation. Koko&Jean filled the closet area of the activation with vintage and reworked men and women’s apparel, and ByLAforLA distributed a newspaper to tell you about everyone involved, including co-host A-Butta of Keep It Run Hundred.

2020 has been a wild one, and I hope my weekly releases provided something to look forward to outside of the craziness that we’ve all endured. The music has definitely helped me sustain some type of sanity.
